Prior to scheduling your microblading or permanent makeup appointment, please read the following. These are factors that would prevent you from having Permanent-Makeup:
Pregnant or nursing (please wait until you are finished nursing to schedule your appointment)
Diabetes (prone to bleeding/healing disorders – higher risk of infection)
If you are taking blood-thinners
Previous PMU tattoo (please email us a picture before booking your appointment)
Prone to keloid/hypertrophic scarring
Bleeding disorders
High blood pressure/heart conditions
Extremely oily skin
18 years of age and younger
Refrain from using Retinol 1 week prior to procedure
Do not come to your appointment with a sun burn
Please note…in the days following your procedure you can expect to experience:
Day 1-5: PMU will appear darker as excess pigment is being pushed to the surface of the skin.
Day 5-10: You may experience some flaking or light scabbing of excess pigment.
Day 10-20: PMU will appear extremely light as new skin temporarily dulls out pigment below.
Day 20-30: Pigment will re-emerge and you will be left will your fully healed PMU after 30 days. Between 6-8 weeks, you will have a touch-up appointment.
For Brows: Be prepared to keep permanent makeup completely dry for the first 10 days of healing. No swimming, no direct sunlight, no submerging brows in water, no excess sweating. All of these factors will affect your healed results.
